Valerie Woods

As a professional speaker, coach, and consultant, Valerie inspires her clients to create winning results while building their capacity as transformational leaders. Her clients have praised her ability to establish trust in relationships while fostering a safe environment for professional learning and personal growth. Her core values of honesty, integrity, respect, courage, and commitment are punctuated by her zest and desire to help others discover their greatest potential.

Valerie brings her diverse background in leadership, coaching, adult education, facilitation, teaching, and professional speaking. Her professional background includes experience as a university administrator; a director for an international career development organization; a customer service director for an international technology company; and, an organization learning and development consultant for a large health authority.

Valerie has a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership and Training, a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, both from Royal Roads University, along with a Provincial Instructor’s Diploma in Adult Education from Vancouver Community College. She has achieved her Associate Certified Coach designation through the International Coach Federation. Valerie is certified in various Psychometric assessment tools such as the MBTI® personality indicator and she is currently working towards her Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner certification. Along with several other interests, Valerie is a senior instructor and coach in the sport of recreational skydiving. In the winter, she is a volunteer first aid ski patroller.
